The Rhodinette fibre tip electroplating unit is designed for the partial electroplating of jewellery andother small items. It makes two-tone effects much easier to produce since it is not allways necessary to resort to masking ink. However, the layers applied with this method are very thin (approx. 0.1-0.2 μm), so that the initial plating on the workpiece must be of an adequate thickness.
