By the transmission of the gear ratio of 1: 4, the roller can be operated with little force.

The rollers are driven on both sides and, like the entire transmission shafts, are mounted in bronze bushes without play.

Thanks to this high-quality bearing, the force expenditure is once again considerably reduced and permits the rolling out of very thin materials.

The rollers are specially hardened, they have an elastic core with a very high surface hardness of 60 HRC.

The roller adjustment is effected centrally by the toggle, which is connected to the adjusting spindles of the rollers by way of toothing.

Two scales on the adjusting spindles are very helpful for setting the rolling thickness.

The material thickness to be rolled up to 5 mm is ideal for the goldsmiths.

The lubrication is achieved by means of the 4 wellbores, which are located at the front.
